(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 1, 2014- Due to extremely wet conditions Prestige Yacht Coatings Thunderhill Raceway has cancelled it’s opener that was scheduled for this Saturday May 3. With rain all week and cool temperatures the track is simply to soft.

“As I’ve stated from the beginning, we will look out for the drivers and their race cars. The best way to do so early on is with a smooth racing surface.” Stated track promoter Woody Wodack; “We are crossing our fingers in hope that mother nature plays nice and we can get the season rolling next weekend.”

Mothers Day weekend will play host to our season opener on Saturday May 10 and will be brought to you by Maas Floral, Woody’s Signs and WDOR.

A practice for next week is still on the slate, weather permitting. Stay tuned to your social media outlets for information on when that will take place.
