EWSC Racing Kicks Off The Season

(Manitowoc, WI) – The Stars and Cars of Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars (EWSC)
take to the high-banked 1/3 mi oval Friday night, May 2nd at 7pm. Once again
anticipation for the two and three wide racing at the Manitowoc County Expo
speedplant, builds year after year with four divisions battling for dirt track
supremacy. EWSC Boasts 4 exciting divisions each and every Friday night with
racing beginning at 7pm. Returning for the 2014 season are the Professional
Plating, Inc 360 Sprint cars, WDLMA Late Models, Grand Nationals and
SportMods.
“It’s an exciting time of year for us,” states PR-Director, Eric Mueller. “We’ve
put a lot of effort into improving our facility, encouraging fans to provide feedback
this off-season. We took the survey results and made considerable efforts to
improve for our fans and competitors.” EWSC Club President Tom Schnicke added,
“This is a building process, and as we progress we feel we’ve made changes that
fans and teams have asked us for. We are a member driven club, it matters to us
that we have such passionate fans and participants.”
Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars has built a long standing tradition, of good,
hard racing, and a family friendly environment. Reaching out for community
involvement during the season, EWSC will honor many organizations and public
servants during the 18 week season. Following Monster Energy opening night May

nd, some highlights of the 2014 schedule include: Military Night Friday May 23rd
with all Military (active and retired) getting free grandstand admission with valid
ID. The week following, Police/Fire/EMS night Friday May 30th , also getting free
admission with valid ID. Autograph night returns Friday July 18th, and the always
popular Holiday House night Friday July 25th with a candy and coin drop for kids.
