MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY TAKES “FAMILY FRIENDLY PRICING” TO THE NEXT LEVEL – FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL CHILDREN AND STUDENTS!!

Fountain City, WI (April 7, 2014) – MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY owners Bob & Paula Timm and Tom & Tina Lockner are excited to announce their plan to take the “Family Friendly Pricing” promotion to the next level compliments of an expanded “FREE ADMISSION” option for all children and students!! In 2012, MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY introduced “Family Friendly Pricing” in order to put the word “Affordable” back into the picture for those race fans who are planning their weekends to include a visit to the West-Central Wisconsin dirt track; for the 2014 season, “Family Friendly Pricing” is even better!

“One of our main goals here at MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY has always been to make this a Family Friendly Destination”, said Bob Timm, while discussing the new pricing options, “We want the race fan FAMILIES to know that we are keeping them in mind when we invite them to come to MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY to enjoy some great dirt-track racing on a Friday night.”

 

For the 2014 season, MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY is improving their free admission promotion to not only cover all children 12 and under, but also to include ALL ACTIVE Students with a valid student ID Card – this includes Current College Students with current IDs!!

 

Additionally, MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY will continue its “Family Friendly” price structure at the pit gates. “Not only do we want families to be able to enjoy the evening’s racing action from the grandstands,” continued Timm, “but we also want those families who may be actively competing – and therefore spending the night in the pit area – to also be able to enjoy the night together. The last thing we want to do is split up a family during our sporting events which we feel are so tightly woven around the family unit.”

 

“Family Friendly Pit Pricing” for the 2014 regular season means that children 5 and under will get into the pits absolutely free (with a signed insurance waiver and parental accompaniment). Children 12 and under who are not competing will be allowed to purchase a pit pass for only $15.00. (Note: Children 12 and under who are competing are still required to purchase the regularly priced $25.00 pit pass.)

 

“We want all families to enjoy the sport of stock car racing that we present at MISSISSIPPI THUNDER SPEEDWAY regardless of how they’re involved – as a fan, as a competitor, or as a member of a competitor’s family,” explained Tom Lockner, “and we feel that both of these pricing structures, the “MTS Family Friendly Pricing” and the “Family Friendly Pit Pricing”, will allow families to stay together and enjoy the evening of racing as a family for an affordable price.”

In addition to these special Family Friendly pricing options, regular weekly racing programs have the following single ticket purchase options available: Adult General Admission – $12.00, Senior Citizens (65 and older) – $10.00.
