Luxemburg Speedway Ready to Set Sail in 2014

(Luxemburg, WI)- The 2014 season at Luxemburg Speedway is fast approaching with the kickoff being set for Friday Night, May 2nd. The regular 7 p.m. Start time will be used for all events unless otherwise noted. 
2 practices will be held this year with weather permitting. April 25th and April 27th have been the dates chosen for the practices. Start times will be announced soon.
 
One of the exciting contingencies new in 2014 is the $10 a lap to the leader. All divisions with a 20 car count minimum will be on a rotating schedule.
Pit passes will be $25.00 This year. In an effort to try and get the youth back into the sport; kids 14-17 who show there high school id will be allowed into the pits for only $15.00. Any driver 14-17 must pay the $25.00 pit pass.
Both the pits and grandstand areas will have credit card machines. This will look to help in the new age of technology. Drivers that rent transponders must use cash.
Dave “Pokey” Schlise will be the Director of Competition this season. He brings and extensive knowledge of the racing world with him.
