(Luxemburg, WI)- Round 2 of the Plywood races is upon us this Friday night. This is the second night this season that Luxemburg Speedway has held the Plywood race with 12 contestants competing last time. Victory Sign and Gnome Games will be sponsoring the races. Racing gets underway at 7 p.m.

The kids will have their chance to take to the dirt this week during intermission with the annual big wheel race. The initial race got rained out.

Shawn Kilgore got back into victory lane last Friday in IMCA Modified action. Todd Dart finished second so he only lost 1 point in the standings. Kilgore leads Dart 222-208 in the standings.

John Heinz scored his division tying 2nd feature last week in the IMCA Stockcars. Rod Snellenberger leaped Shawn Havel in the standings and into the runner-up spot. He trails defending champion, Brandon Czarapata by 33 points.

J.J. Anderson won his first IMCA Sportmod feature of 2013 last Friday night at the speedway. Josh long is inching closer to the track title and owns a 17 point advantage over Christopher Budzban.

Sawyer Haese had a night to remember last week in the IMCA Hobby Stock division. Not only did he earn his first career Luxemburg feature win but he also took control of the point lead over veteran Derek Moede. The veteran trails the young gun by 1 point.

There is now 3 feature winners in 2013 in the Street Stock division. Gary Kasperek fought off a late charge from point leader Keith Kickbusch to win the main event last week. Kickbusch increased his point lead to 25 over Marcus Moede.
