(Sturgeon Bay, WI) May 30, 2013 Press Release- Thunderhill Raceway kicks off night number 3 of the season with racers already starting to keep an eye on the point standings. Budweiser and Bud Light will only be $1 with a paid wristband. Budweiser has been a long time supporter of the track and with everyone being on a tight budget these days, what’s better than having a few cold beers after a hard week of work for only a buck!

A special Bartenders Race will take place at the end of the night. So if you’re a bartender and you want to race. Get after your buddy who has a race car, get your pit pass, sign up at the back gate and come get your thrill at Thunderhill!

Algoma’s James Lee Tebon leads the standings in the Kelsey Racing IMCA Modifieds with a 5 point edge over Kewaunee’s Eugene Gregorich Sr. Last weeks winner Dan Ratajczak of Frog Station sits third 7 points back.

In the Bull Pen Bar & Grill IMCA Stock Cars Shawn “Handsome” Havel holds a 2 point margin over Dave “The Bulldozer” Bouche, both drivers are from Algoma. Green Bay’s Jeremy “Weeds” Wiitala sits third just 5 marks back.

Green Bay’s Jarred VanLaanen, Kelsy “Hollywood” Hayes and “The Kid” Randy LeMieux Jr. both of Sturgeon Bay sit tied for the lead in the LaVine’s Ice IMCA Sport Mods. Last weeks feature winner Chris Budzban of Luxemburg sits 1 point back for the lead in the standings.

Luxemburg’s Scott Boulanger has won both features in the Lackie Rentals & Remodeling IMCA Hobby Stocks and leads the points with a 2 point lead over “The Casco Kid” Derek Moede. Algoma’s Travis Hackett is third 4 points out.

Fresh of a feature win Kewaunee’s Keith “The Kicker” Kickbusch leads the Showcase Kitchens Street Stock standings with a 2 point edge over Sturgeon Bay’s Kevin Luedtke.

Five divisions do battle every Saturday night through the summer. IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA Northern Sport Mod, IMCA Hobby Stock and Street Stocks will compete on the 1/3rd mile clay oval.
