(“BIG CASH DASH”, BMT “SIX-FOR-SIX” PROVISIONAL RACES ALSO SLATED)

(Francis Creek, WI) April 2 – The format and payout have been finalized for the $10,000-to-win Clash at the Creek V June 26-27 at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.

The largest paying modified race in the history of northeastern Wisconsin will start 24 cars paying $700 to start the 50 lap A main. In addition, a non-qualifiers feature, showcasing the top 20 in cumulative points from the two day show who did not qualify in, will also be run Thursday night.

The special event, which will be televised live on Sports Showdown My32, is expected to draw several out of state hotshoes. The Iron Horse Recycling Badger Stock Tour presented by Kick Ass Drive Train and Iron Horse Recyling will run as a support class on Thursday night only.

After heats and B mains are run each night, an A main will be run with the top seven drivers being pulled each night and locking in to the big show Thursday night. The next 8 positions will be the top 8 drivers in accumulated points from both days. Position 23 will be the 141 Speedway track provisional, with position 24 the Badger Mod Tour provisional.

The 141 Speedway provisional will be chosen through the “Big Cash Dash” which will be run Saturday night June 15 at 141. The winner of this race will be “locked in” to the $10,000-to-win show. Drivers eligible to compete in this race include all the former modified track champions since the track was converted to dirt in 2010, including Luxemburg’s Jared Siefert (2010), Sobieski’s Sean Jerovetz (2011) and New Franken’s Shawn Kilgore (2012).

In addition, any driver who wins an IMCA modified or Badger Mod Tour A main at 141 in 2013 is eligible. Any driver in the top ten in 141’s weekly points heading into June 15 who’s not already qualified into the “Big Cash Dash” is also eligible to compete. If the races get rained out June 15, the “Big Cash Dash” will be run Saturday June 22. If the driver who wins the “Big Cash Dash” already qualifies into the $10000 to win race without needing the provisional, the 2nd place finisher would be chosen, followed by the third place driver and on down the line.

The BMT “Six-for-six” Dash will be a six lap shootout amongst the 6 highest drivers in BMT points after the June 16 event at Wilmot Raceway. The winner of that event will earn the 24th spot in the starting field of the $10,000-to-win event. That “Six-for-six” dash will be run on Thursday. If the winner of this dash already qualifies in without a provisional, the same procedures would be followed as for the 141 Speedway “Big Cash Dash” for selecting qualifiers.
