At least for me, anyway. With the weekend coming fast, it’s time for me to compile the usual list. The point season is drawing to a close, so the racing action is going to get hot!
Friday night:
Luxemburg Speedway is holding the regular race program. But before you think that’s all, they’re also having the Combine Demo Derby! Yes, tractors! Not only that, but the points chase is coming to a close! Shawn Wagner is wrking on Junior Karcz, Wagner only trails by fifteen points in the stocks. Brad Lautenback only leads three points over Eric “Chummy” Arneson in the sport mods, will Chummy be able to pass Brad? A three-way race in the hobby stocks has Tom Brumlic only leading by two points over Marcus Moede, and five points over Derek Moede. Which of the three will prevail in the four points nights left of the season?
It’s Graphic Point Night at Oshkosh’s Speedzone Raceway. With all of the regular classes, who will battle for the top of this season? In the grand nationals, TJ Smith leads over Larry Richards by eight, and Jim Rhode by 10.

With Ben Hillman fighting to hold his lead over Steve Thomas by four points, and Jason Forehand by six in the super stocks, there’s no winner yet. Matt Leer and Cory Crapser battle it out with Matt only holding a single point over Cory in the midwest modifieds.
Lafeyette County Speedway has nothing on the schedule for this weekend, but will return next Friday for the season championship night!

Troy Jerovetz holds an eleven point lead over Andy Kleczka in the sport mods, can he hold on to it for a couple more weeks?
